- Friends --
-
- I can't get the new ibrowse demo running. For the last demo, I had a Path
- statement in s:user-startup assigning Ibrowse to ram: (I didn't want to have
- to worry about crashes while caching messing up my hard drive.)
-
- I tried running the latest Ibrowse demo out of ram: in the same way. It
- starts up fine, and seems to generate some modem-light activity when I enter a
- url... but that (EXTREMELY COOL!) transfer animation keeps going and going
- without the program ever loading a page. The same thing happened on every
- page I tried.
-
- I then tried unarchiving it to my hd. The readme says that you can "run
- prefs" to assign the cache directory to ram: But how do you run prefs? When
- I select "Options" under Preferences, all I get is a screen-flash.
-
- Anybody got this figured out?
-
- Thanks.
